Adobe is the No. 1 organization with the happiest employees in 2021 as per the new report published by Comparably, a company review site. 70,000 U.S. firms were part of the study. The report identified where employees are most satisfied with attributes such as work environment, company goals, pay and other benefits.
Adobe dethroned Zoom’s No. 1 position for two consecutive years - 2019 and 2020. This year Zoom fell to 9th place. However, Comparably CEO Jason Nazar said the different scores amongst the top 10 firms are minor and created on tens of thousands of information points.
Nazar said Adobe’s positive feedback is the outcome of various departments, including marketing, design, product, engineering, and sales employees who ranked the corporation best across aspects that show a supportive environment and rewarding culture.
Adobe chief people officer Gloria Chen said, "The firm assessed employee sentiment in the epidemic using company all-hands meetings, focus groups and surveys to know the difficulties of working in Covid and suggest ways to meet altering requirements."
In answer to feedback, Adobe took the below measures:
Adobe also prioritized staying connected and building community while apart. It introduced a fortnightly “coffee break” cycle, an inclusion event and an annual diversity.
Chen said all the steps were fruitful due to genuine employees who believed in the company culture. Besides, he quoted that even after the pandemic subdues, employees will have the flexibility to work, be it work from home or work from the office.
Rankings were decided on anonymous worker ratings on qualities that contributed to complete satisfaction at jobs. The answers to the questions from employees were collected for more than a year, from September 2020 to September 2021.
